Some good action at the end of this chapter. Anna seems well placed with Troy's family now and I bet Michael will believe Betty and Paul are his grandparents.
Loved the progress. Now at least they have something on this lout with the muffler. Well written.
Two little gremlins.
the ringing door [b] ell
Ann[a] pulled into her parking

I made some changes in those areas and made everything worse. Thank you for your eagle eye.

Hi Barbara,
So Anna's pursuer is finally showing his hand, I hope the police catch up with him and his helpers soon. One correction for you -
Paul answered the ringing door ell. bell?

I just fixed that. I had doorbell and one word and when I put in the space, I knocked off the b. Thank you for your kind review.

Betty entered and[,] after prayer[,] they passed the food.
Ann[a] pulled into her parking space and Troy pulled into the slot beside her.
She stepped up the curb and stood on the sidewalk[] before turning toward Troy.
Once inside[,] she slammed the door closed and locked it.
Finally. Some evidence that might at last identify the creep.

Oh boy, that was a close call. Another well penned work and your ending was a heart thumping one. Safe inside for now, but I'm sure safety is but an illusion.
Well penned Barbara.

It looks Paul is bringing in the big guns. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very interesting read. Good job.

This is great work. You keep the suspense going and you keep your focus, too. Although Anna is gaining strength and beginning to feel more secure, threats are always occurring. A bad one this time, as Michael was also in harm's way. At least Troy got a license plate number, so they may be able to track who's behind the threats to Anna. The threats are becoming sicker and sicker, and it seems that her ex and his family are the logical suspects. Or are there other entities at work? Good job of keeping the reader guessing. judi
