Your haiku was awesome, Debra. I like the use of the colored
font like polka dots. Your syllable count was correct per line.
The image in the mind of readers was perfect even if no picture
had been included.
Thanks for sharing, Jan

This was a delightful Haiku. I enjoyed reading it very much. I remember when I was young sitting in those polka dot meadows, weaving daisy crowns. Then we danced as fairies through the meadows. Wonderful days. kay

Thank you so much for your kind feedback, Kay :) Glad you enjoyed the read - I used to enjoy making daisy crowns and chains too - simple pleasures.... miss those days x

daisies crown
my bountiful birthday bouquet -
polka dot meadow
Your haiku will flow better if you move the possessive "my" next to the adjective word.
I like the nature imagery of the field of daisies. Well done.

This is a very nice poem for the club event entry. I enjoyed that you have presented it well and it flows well when it's really loud. Have a good day and God bless Patricia.

Yes, you're an April baby so your flower is the daisy and what a lot of effort you went through to alternate the font colors! I love your "polka dot meadow" for your birthday flower haiku! Lovely presentation!

Wow! This sounds and looks so very beautiful. The presentation is superb. Alternating the colours of the letters was a great idea.
Super cool. Thanks so much for sharing.
PS. And you've also used my beloved alliteration on the second line.

Hi Debra,
This is a nice entry for the "Birthday Flower" event in the Haiku Club. I especially liked your final line,
"polka dot meadow"
That's a great "Aha!" moment, your reflection on the scene at the time.
Sad to think that a lot of people call daisies and dandelions... weeds! Perish the thought.
Hugs,
Kimbob
