Your verse is a deeply emotional tribute to your mother captured by that beautiful image and conveyed through your evocative sentiments. The poignancy is in the letting go of the hand to continue her journey. Thanks for sharing, Michelle, Take care Debbie

I love to see children praising God, they do it with such faith as little children always do, I lead these kids in worship in church, and I'm.truly blessed as I am with this fine post, well done, blessings Roy

What a loving poem of your godly mother. A tender one of her, and her care for you. Precious, Michelle.
Sending you my best today as always,

A fine poem Michelle but to be a sonnet you would need to use iambic pentameter and keep each line to 10 syllables. I enjoyed the sentiments here though, love Dolly x x x

I followed the guide of 10 syllables for each line with abab cdcd efef gg.
Tell me more about the missing peace.

Ok. Now I understand. It is the rhythm that I'm missing. I will try again.
-
Yes Michelle, if you need any help with the metre, let me know in a private message x x x

Thank you. I have an idea brewing for a sonnet and looked at your work to get the rhythm
I will let you know.

The author's words are lovely, engaging and creative. These words describe cherished moments, graceful smiles, and so much more with love. I found in this poem a beautiful description of a kind and loving mother. The poem flows and connects well. The artwork is lovely and compliments the theme and words of this poem well. Great Poem!
Hi Michelle, hope you're having a great day!...Maria

Thank you so much. I tried to make it a sonnet, however, but failed in that attempt.

This is very beautiful, showing the hands as loved ones, enemies, and friends, returning to the beginning. It was very well done. Thank you for sharing it with me.
