One's offspring always remain dear to us, the one thing that remind us of the wonders of reproducing oneself in another form and likeness of ourselves and God's, beautifully written blessings Roy

This is a 'Tears for Fears' song. Perhaps appropriate. So sorry to hear you news. Love and prayers going out to you. This is a miraculous poem conveying your feelings as a mother. I do hope everything works out for you and your son.

"you still fit from my lap to my heart" what a beautiful line, your words describe the power of your love, and the respect/understanding you have by accepting "fine" as an answer, very well written and presented****kahpot

I will join in praying for your son. Everyday they are improving quality of medicine and life for patients with this disease. I did some research when I wrote Coffee With Iris. Take care of yourself as well. This was beautiful. Prayers. Gretchen

That brings me hope. Most of the internet sites I checked just defines the disease. On top of that, he doesn't have insurance though he works at Google. He is under contract through a temp agency. It's going to be at least 15, 000 dollars. Medical care is so expensive. Hopefully he will get on the California Obama care insurance. Thank you for the prayers. I believe they work.

-I am sorry to hear about your son, Gypsy.
-Thanks for sharing the notes, and thoughts
and prayers are with your and your son.
-You wrote a very good poem for him, showing
how strong your love is for him.
-I can relate to the second half of the poem
because I have one son, and he always used
to reply "fine" when he was asked how school was.
-Hope your son is better soon.

I can understand why you would feel that way, Gypsy. You are very welcome for the review and kind words. I hope your son didn't have a set back.
-
No, no set back. I'm just very worried for him.
-
That is understandable. I am glad there wasn't a set back.

This is beautifully written. I am sorry about your son. My life partner, Audrey had congestive heart failure as well and she lived with it for over seven years.
Did you know that the title of your poem is a song title from Tears For Fears? They were a rock band back in the 80s. I knew them personally and they were good for their time.
I hope your son comes home from the hospital soon.

I know of people who live for many, many years after being diagnosed with Congestive heart failure.
So, don't worry. Your son will live a long, long time!
Hugs for both of you!

This free verse, Sowing the Seeds of Love, you show your connection with your son, which never weakens with years or age. Kids are our kids even when they have kids with kids. Prayers for your son's condition.
