LOL I couldn't help but laugh. Yes, woodpeckers can be annoying when one's trying to sleep. Probably not as annoying as a barking dog. LOL Thank you for sharing this fun poem with us.

This poem is humorous and had me smiling. It also made me think about the things which people sometimes do that are natural or normal for them, but affect us all the same. Your colors are always very stunning and your words invoke deep thought.

Lol! Oh, that annoying woodpecker! And sometimes they are seeking a mate so they want to make a lot of noise and the knock on the roof or a metal rain gutter. Cute!

Ha! Ha! how very frustrating, the woodpecker must be a fascinating bird, I think the closest we come here is the Kookaburra, they slap their food in a knocking/pecking display constantly before eating, very well written and presented****kahpot
