First off this line had me roaring.

"This vehicle doesn't whinny or neigh. It runs on fuel not hay and oats." LoL

Secondly, I don't like Jane. I know people like her and luckily, I handle them well. No way she'd intrude on my trip, lol.

Another great chapter, Gretchen.

I would nope Jane would fall off the wagon, but since your in a car now, I guess you'll have to open the door and push out, lol.
God bless,
Steve

Thank you, Steve. I usually tell talkers I need a moment of silence. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Gretchen

I like your playfulness with the use of onomatopoetic words: "Jane's eyes widen for half a second then she throws her head back and laughs. Not just laughs, but snorts and slaps my arm playfully. "You're a hoot, missy, you are funny. This is going to be a fun trip." A fun ending

Gretchen,
I'm sorry I missed your chapters.
I love the witty sarcasm in your work. I laughed out loud.
Jane may be fictional to you, but I've met people in my past like her: overbearing with no clue of anything.
Your story is charming and funny.
Excellent!
Best wishes,
Cindy

Jane is based on a few people I've encountered over the years. Lol. Thank you for this.

This has been an interesting story, and it seems to be making some new turns with the appearance of Jane. Is Rebekah also going with you? That should be interesting unless Jane drives her crazy right away.

Excellent chapter, it's not the end, I hope.

You have a unique talent to bring characters to life.

Well done, Gretchen

Yikes... another addition to the Convention Bound Crew, a.k.a CBC... haha.

This is a fun read and I can only expect more hi-jinx in the near future.

Keep'm coming...

Thanks, John. Jane is going to be a burr under everyone's saddle. Who knows where this is heading. Gretchen

I'm glad you finally got your corn husk doll and I think Hannah was the perfect name to give it. Now let's see what other kinds of trouble we can get into!

Hello Gretchen,
OK, I'm already pissed off at this lady. I can't stand people who just assume they are welcome to join in to whatever activity is going on. She reminds me in part of some of the folks I had to deal with back on the farm. Though it's not the same, whenever one of us was going to Juneau for whatever reason, there were those on the farm who just assumed we were going to Costco or Fred Meyer's shopping and would give us a list and sometimes instructions on what to buy, the size, flavor, color, whatever. We were left with not only having to shop for them, but minding their money and loading the stuff they wanted onto a cart on the ferry. I hate presumptuous people. This ought to be interesting gal. Well done.
Blessings,
Tom

I'm with you, Tom. It's different if I ask someone if they need me to pick something up for them. I think we all know a Jane. Thank you for this lively review. You never disappoint! Gretchen

Oh so now we are introduced to yet another character and we're wondering how this adventure will go with the complication of now five ladies heading to the convention. Wasn't there a man looking around the car before? Poor Rebekah - is she ready for all this?
Sweet interaction with Hannah.

It will be Rachelle, Rebekah and me, and now Jane. Jane will prove challenging. I looked back at both Rachelle and my posts but didn't find a mention of another man. Just Jane. Thank you for this. It will prove interesting. Gretchen

It was Tova's husband. After I read Rachelle's post, I understood who that was now and that you were in two different cars.

Who is this strange person who has crashed the party? I can feel your discomfiture, Gretchen, with this turn of events. Now you've got quite a motley assortment of people on their way to the FanStory reunion, when it started innocently enough with just you and Rachelle. What a story this has turned into. It seems like it's winding down towards the end. It will be very interesting to see what happens when you get to NY.

Hopefully, Jane won't be tied to the roof of the car by the time we arrive. Lol. I have no idea when this is going to end. It's a lot of fun to write though. Gretchen
