Hi DonandVicki,
Excellent nonet! Loving the beautiful waves shown to enhance your beautiful words about the vastness and power of God. His presence is so immense we cannot fathom Him yet so personal, His spirit sits on our shoulders at the same time.
Love your work. Good luck!
All the best,
Senyai

Witnessing the waves hitting the rocks with such mighty strength is a vivid image here in your poem, the power of this action is something man cannot fight against. Your nonet is powerful and full of nature's force, good luck with the contest, love Dolly x

I liked how the poem wound in on itself, nice job with the form, and it created a nice rhythm in the language. I wonder if, considering the theme here of God's world being beyond our comprehension, that it would be better if you had turned it upside down and had the lines opening out and getting longer and longer, going beyond reach. Something to think about. estory

A good idea, but a nonet goes 9-8-7-6... sylables. Top to bottom. I do agree with you though, it would flow better.

Wow, all I can think of is majesty! The poem is majestic and the message powerful. Like the ocean waves, it felt refreshing, yet something more... strong.
Thanks for sharing this poem,
Rhonda

For me this made me think of the power of nature and how it is something we cannot control as a species, that's the image I had in my as I was reading it. A well written piece. Good luck in the contest.

I love this Nonet that portrays the power of the ocean or the sea of course. I live in a seaside and spend a lot of time listening to the waves crashing off the Shoreline rocks. I love the term Alpha and Omega, I had to look it up to remind me what it meant, what a lovely addition to the poem.
We always say never underestimate the power of the sea! Well done and good luck with contest!
Best Wishes
