I'm so happy that Troy is calling for help, but I'm also very worried. This could make things especially worse for Anna. A coward like Bobby would take it out on her and maybe Michael.

You caught the nail on the head when you said Domestic Violence is a serious issue and you portray that seriousness vividly in your story. I know that you hope that you're wondering if you're making light of real life victims and what they've gone through. I admire you for that, but I think stories like yours will raise awareness about this issue. I think you are doing something important, and, for lack of a better word, wonderful with this story.

Wel, I'm hoping I'm back to stay this time. I have my next chapter ready to go and am now trying to earn my points.
I didn't spot any spags in this chapter and am rushing off to the next one to see how badly Anna was hurt.

You have a flair for building drama. Troy showing up at the house is a great plot addition.

Hi Barbara, I finally made it to this chapter. Seems I've missed a couple. My schedule is busy, I'll do my best to keep up. Great suspenseful chapter. Troy was taking a big risk by going to their home, but thank God he did, though this is short, you ended at the perfect spot.

An excellent ending to the previous chapter, and a good cliff hanger. This is still eerily accurate. Don't worry about adding it to the fictional category because although this does go on in the real world, your characters are still fictitious.
I am dying for Troy to kick the door in as he waits for the police to arrive. Someone needs to give that big bully a smack. As you can tell you really do get your readers involved with your story. :)
