The hell with this, Anna needs a frigging gun and trained pitbull. That bastard is seriously twisted and I already know he's willing to kill her. I swear if he doesn't get a bullet between the eyes soon I'm never gonna read you again.
Okay, just one more, for real this is it.

Thank you.

Great chapter, Barbara. I like how the beginning scene is more serene, then how the emotions start to escalate during the sentencing, up to Bobby's vow of revenge. The dialog is done well. The end of the piece leaves a bit of suspense as the reader wonders if Bobby will engineer an attempt on Anna's life.
Thanks for a great read.

HI BARBARA!
I'VE MISSED SOME CHAPTERS DUE TO PROBLEMS WITH MY EYES. BUT NOW, ALMOST BACK TO NORMAL, I FOUND THIS INTERESTING STORY IN A VERY IMPORTANT MOMENT. REALLY A VERY ENJOYABLE READING!

Hello, Barbara.
This was an exceptional read. You illustrated so well how Bobby's behavior went unrewarded in court. Overwhelmed as I am about catching up on back reviews, this was a delight to read. I'm sorry Anna has fear, but it is only natural. I don't think Bobby will get ahance to harm her. I look forward to your next post, and wish you well this week.
Warmly, Rebecca

I am thrilled at teh outcome of teh court case.
Things could hardly have turned out better for Anna, even down to Bobby having to pay the court costs.
It seems that Anna will just have to learn how to defend herself, given Bobby's parting words.

What a compelling and chilly way to end the chapter. But you painted a sad and realistic portrait in our society. So much for freedom of speech. Another round of clear crisp sentences that put the reader on edge.

Good morning Barbara. Another well written chapter that kept me interested. Characters and dialogue realistic and without any clutter. The story is still developing smoothly as it progresses.
Unsure what P.I? is
Have a great day, hugs Mia

Ogh good Lord..it seems these women are never really free unless their tormentor is blessed enough to die..she's lucky to have at least someone to try to protect her. my computer's been down and I've had some of my own health issues but things should get back to norm before too long. How's school going? God bless.

A tense time for poor Anna,
and although the case turned
out the better for her and
little Michael, she still
fears the bully of a husband,
which is understandable, as
he doesn't seem the type
to worry about the law.
her[,] how
Well-penned, Barbara.

Powerful work continues, Barbara. Just a thought. I think the judge would do more than eject Bobby from the courtroom for that behavior. He might threaten to lock him up for a few days. Good luck as you continue. Larry
