I see you need one more review for this wonderful poem to be recognised so here it is ! Congratulations! I so wish I could listen to the audio.
I have the virtue of much patience being a Capricorn and I fully appreciate the vernacular tenfold!! The Scottish sound is so unique and as you say certainly is an experience that differs from the usual!
Why in the world would someone say your humor is of the bathroom type and very much disliked?? Who would be so rude and so bold? Take it from a conservative lady ( moi) that this is not true. Decidedly not true!!
People's audacity never ceases to amaze me! And be assured you are indeed " a gift to all those who are a wee bit down!"

What a great poem about this wee lass that wanders away from home and can sing so well.
But in the end she realises where she belongs and goes back home.
Think this happens to so many girls when they are young. Fortunately this has a good ending.
Flows and rhymes so well.
Most of us can relate to this having been there or knowing of some one.

Alex...I am so honored with this poem you've written about one of my songs. I don't feel deserving of this honor, but I know that is just the kind of wonderful person you are, to think of others, before yourself, when you have such an abundance of talent yourself. I have only been on this site for a couple of weeks, but your posts were the first I discovered, with the charming Scottish brogue. I am so fortunate to have found this site and am thankful for the many new friends I have found here, yourself being at the topa' the list. Thank you for this poem. I loved it. I've already given you too many stars I guess. You only get a five this time Auld Yin. :-)
