Bookend poem: (septolet)
Rainbow in the Sun -

rain drops
bring life

a pop-up book
of paradise

salvation
rainbows
how very nice

A pretty little poem all on its own :-)

Paired up with - Original post: (septolet) Deserted
it makes for a very strong contrast :-) A barren desiccated desert (death) -vs- a bountiful rainbow (life)
or desolation -vs- hope
or loneliness -vs- friendship
or defeat -vs- triumph
LOL. . .you get the picture :-)

(I do wish you had put the original post date on the submission somewhere though )

I love that the sequel progresses toward hope from the original
