Well written. I always used to dream of flying when I was younger. Now my shoulders are too sore to even think of it. Poor birds. I wonder if they get sore shoulders as they get old. Interesting topic.

And he did not even have a towel tied around his neck...I like your reversal- a leaper who thinks he can fly who actually can. The irony- some in the crowd are probably disappointed that he did not splat.

This is a fantasy. However, it is fun to think about the fantasy and the what ifs. It's well written. It's easy to read and follow. It does a good job of building suspense.
