Lovely and bold! Thank you for giving a voice to this! Also, what an irony: the last line only stings if the reader is misogynistic (like probably most opponents)

Hahaha. Yes, probably most are! That's what made putting that line there so much fun. So pleased you enjoyed. This did pretty well and got mostly positive responses. So, a good thing. mikey

Your poem is interesting. Your artwork goes well with your poem. It enhances its meaning. Your poem flows well with humor.

This meets the contest requirements beautifully with a spot on line and syllable count. This is very well executed and certainly a true statement - I just find the whole thing a little mind boggling. I wish you all the best in the voting and thank you very much for sharing it.

It is mind bending. I clearly remember the Olympics that year. A most unusual life. I can only hope that it helps someone who needs it. mikey

This five-seven-five, Caitlyn wins again, certainly takes the high road on this amazing turn of events. Freedom to express one's sexual orientations has seemingly blown the doors off societal restraints. It's good, of course, for the individual.

Hi Mikey
Fabulous presentation as always. I just love good satire and certainly I'm well rewarded for reading this one. Hehehehe! Love the way your mind thinks. :)
Though more seriously I do admire the courage to be so public and bringing another minority out in the open, hopefully to gain some recognition and respect. You are who you are!! Inspiration for sure.
Well done ... has to be a winner. I wish you luck anyway. :)) Hugs - Lovi xoxo

I don't know too much about Bruce/Kaitlyn Jenner's personal story, Mikey. I tend to avoid any articles, television programs, or any other forms of mass media pertaining to the topic like the plague. She/he is an inspiration to some, I suppose, and an aberration of divine creation to others.
Best of luck to you in the contest.

Caitlyn Wins Again, is a fine 5/7/5 poem. I think this is a great contest entry. I like to find out about women that excel at what they do, specially when is a men's thing.

Wow. I did not think it possible to achieve so much depth with so few words. What a touching tribute. And at the same time you manage to get a big smile out of me to go wit it. What is the world coming to a 5·7·5 worthy of six stars. A sure winner.

Your poem stays true to the 5-7-5 syllable format.
It's topical ("from current headlines)--and stays positive.
I especially liked the inclusion of the phrase "beat by a girl."
