A lovely thought... I think of balloons and the freedom
they have...but the environmentalists have ruined that
telling us that a fish or a bird will eat it and die.

Congratulations! Well done. You've captured the imagination of the reviewers and word format. A true AHA moment in your final line. I think the Lune is a precursor to the haiku. I love the long breath before releasing, adds an extra dimension to the phrase. Worthy of a six, used mine on the sonnet contest ... so many good ones. I do have one but saving for your latest post. This is so true. I like the space between the words in the last line to denote the space the kite is flying in.
It can also be by releasing a helium balloon and watching it disappear into the clouds. My son used to do that after every visit to Champs,
a sports bar which gave kids balloons.
Congrats on the win.
