Beautiful set up and presentation my friend. It holds a lot of wonder my friend.I believe that Mother Nature sows us in detail what happens out in the wild if we just pay attention and have faith in ones self

I doubt anybody even Webster has a good definition for faith. I bet you find it inside yourself, probably in your heart. Your contest entry asks a difficult question. I do wish you the best of luck.

thank you for sharing your nonet poem for the contest. I think your poem answers the question. Faith can be seen in the toil of the roots. They continue to move down because they know, through faith, that this will help the tree grow towards the stars. Well done with this thought provoking piece,

Hi Michael, What a wonderful Nonet you have written here for the contest! It fits all the requirements that I can see but even more it has meaning and causes me to delve into the depth of your words.
I love how you compare the roots and the treetops and how they both follow their given course but are still working to nourish and grow the tree. The parallels to our own existence is stunning and thought-provoking at the least. We can all learn a lot just from observing nature, if we allow ourselves to be open to the experience. Superb entry and good luck in the voting.
All the best,
Rodger :)

Well done, Mikey. Brilliant, clever and spot on for the contest. I liked this part especially well:
"Do the stars then entice,
or do they run wild--
the trees unseen?"
Good question. Blessings, Bob

Masterfully crafted piece here Mikey. My thoughts(of course)went a little more sinister with the root system lol. I enjoyed this piece greatly my friend, sorry I haven't been around for a while.
God bless!

A good question.
What indeed is faith? Trouble is, we're told never
to question it, to simply believe.
I guess we're reaching for the stars in our own
way sending all those satellites out there.
Only we mess up too much, in the process.

This nonet is a philosophical and metaphysical comment on how nature and faith intertwine. Faith allows you to believe that everything and everyone is a part of creation.
Good luck in the contest.

Beautiful artwork and a beautiful nonet mikey and a lovely V presentation. A very thought provoking write with your ending question. Trees reaching for the stars while 'their roots toil unaware' love that line. Good luck in the contest,
cheers,
