Let the cat do his own hunting. I don't know what cats are coming to these days. They don't know what it means to work for a living. They're contented to live off of hand-outs and never want to leave home. Like that cat in the picture, just waiting for its next round of Fancy Feast. Great three-liner. Neat allusion to the song about "Three Blind Mice." judi

The cat seems to have a guilty look on it's face.I'm left with the impression the Farmer's Wife did the cat's job. From the title I get the impression the cat is about to be fired. Fun poem.

Oops!
One would think the maniacal meowing and feline howls of pain would be a dead giveaway, Bill.
No pun intended, heh-heh.
This was undoubtedly inspired by that beloved children's song, "Three Blind Mice".
Nice poetic tail...e-r-r-rrrr, heh-heh... I meant tale, of corpse course.
Geesh! ...

    The farmer?s wife is definitely having some kind of breakdown. Let?s hope he exercises her demons before the farmer comes in. It?ll be Leave It To Cleaver.

Hi Bill. Ok. The farmer's wife caught mice then cleaved their tails to feed the cat? How hilarious. That no good cat. Spoiled and pampered. I want to be an indoor only pampered cat. No worries at all. Thank you for sharing

Aha, I see what you did there. You really are a sneaky devil, you are. (Leaving the city or Cleaving the Kitty) a really big difference. As for detailing some poor blind mice, come on how cruel can you be?

lol. um. So that's what that song meant? She was making mouse tail surprise for the kitty? But your title makes me think that the kitty's tail is next. Boy, life is hard on the farm.

Noooooğ???!. I have to protest as a cat lover. It's bad enough that mice tails are on the menu, but cat as well? This is a very clever version of the nursery rhyme, thanks for sharing.

This must be a very special woman to take care of the cat (-;

Such an amusing three lines.

Do especially like:

tender tails
mice's - dices
sightless - looks

Oh, goodness! A maniacal farmer's wife. Poor kitty better jump fast or he's next. He looks like he know it, too. lol. Entertaining poem, here. A continuation of the blind mice tale.
