That is true love; a deep everlasting love. They say that hearts can break over the loss of a lifelong companion, soulmate, husband, wife. I believe it, and know it to be true, having worked with the probate department within my office. Your poem clearly expresses that kind of love.

A perfect 5-7-5 and beautifully illustrated.

This concise piece says so much about love--about a man who
is willing to compromise, willing to FOLLOW his wife and her dream.
Many men would not do this.
