Cupid does seem to be attracted to finding the opposites to toy with.

I wonder if it is the passion he is most thrilled with assisting, or the quarrels that inevitably ensue?

    Gods are known for their mischief behaviour


    Cupido is the god of Eros / love .... ...but being struck by his arrow ..is like being put under a spell.

    I wouldn't want that .. I would prefer to just rely on my own qualities to win a man over.

    Oh that's a shame .. I love to add videos .. Sarandon and Spader are brilliant in this one..

Opposites do indeed attract. I think it is the night and day difference as you've expressed so eloquently. I like this and enjoyed reading this well written work. Well done!

Dear Author, I always wondered that writers used to inspire them! You have given me as great a lesson in poetry writing as Max got about living, from his mentor Nora in this film. Thank you so much! I will use your idea and watch more movies!
P. S. I will look for more Susan Sarandon movies. She picks these sort of roles to play, Have you seen Bull Durham?

    About two months ago I saw a clip of James Spader in The Practice season8 .. Both actor and series were unknown to me.

    It was love at first sight ..since then I have binge watched also the spin off Boston Legal.. I think Alan Shore is one of the best characters ever written for a tv series...and Spader brings him to life so brilliantly.

    I have binge watched since, The Blacklist and several films of Spader and wrote two poems "Bromance" and "Tara and Alan" which you can find in my portfolio...I provided videos for both .. I think you would like them.

    I have not seen Sarandon in "Bull Burham "......I'll check it out as I really enjoyed her in Telma and Louise.
