Congratulations, Diana, on your tie-win for the Animal Nonet contest. This is a beautiful choice of animal, and your poem is very artistic in form, flow and in its soothing elegance -- much like the swans. The video is a nice touch. I love the way the two swans "neck" together and come together like a heart.

That is just beautiful. It gives me an image of romance. A couple on a bridge watching the river flow under them. Then the man, breaking the silence of the night, recites these words. It is his way of sharing how he feels about her.

Hello Mystery Writer!
Absolutely beautiful in terms of form and message. Your poem is not contrived or paltry. It is rhythmic and creates a beautiful and lasting image of these lovely birds. Best Wishes!
