I liked the way you tied it to trees and foliage as a single season.
The budding trees and young flowers poking through the ground

You are within the allowed number of words - 52. I've always wondered about that term. How confirmed a bachelor is confirmed? What a lovely thought that all he needed to do was meet the right lady. You don't mention colors in your description of spring, and mention the colors of autumn, giving importance to their season of "I do." Good luck with this entry, it's a good one.
