I really enjoyed reading this as I feel everyone could relate to it. I think we all have experienced this same times growing up at the beach. Everyone enjoys recollection and reminiscing..Thanks for sharing

You have listed so many of things that children love. You have described the perfect day in the minds of some youngsters. Ice cream is always such a special treat when the weather is hot and little swimmers are beginning to get very tired. Excellent imagery in this fun write. Blessings, Linda
