I liked your thoughts in this poem, Deepwater. Crossing heavens or earth to defend your families and friends was a choice you make. You walked the extra mile.
But I still feel sorry for all those who walked their young lives into oblivion.
Well penned. luv jada

I am sure, these are the sentiments that keep people in adverse conditions to stake their lives for the country.
Short poem, showcasing emotions of courage and sacrifice.

deepwater. You have such a way of making the fallen heroes remembered so clearly, within our hearts. I wasn't certain if "Lifes" should read "lives." Good job as always. quill.

This is very touching and feels of personal experience. I am so proud of all who join the armed forces. Whether we like war or not, we need protection, and those who volunteer to protect or country deserves the utmost respect. Great writing as usual. Leigh Ann

forsaken life's
forsaken lives
that our life was a choice we made
that our way was a choice we made
YOU HAD JUST USED THE WORD LIFE, SO IT'S BEST TO CHANGE IT UP IF WE CAN.
This was a warm and personal piece that tells a story that most (I Hope) can relate to. Cheers, Great job and the cartoon is a delightful addition to it. Cheers, Don

This is very well done. It is an ode to our fallen and living soldiers. Those who have and would give their life for ours and others freedom.

We will remember them. Unfortunately our men and women, are still fighting to protect life within our world.
Man has not learn't to live in peace. Their is to much hatred within our world, that should be replaced with love.
Great art work and writing.
