This is a powerfully sad poem.
As far as structure goes, great job telling the very sad story.
This does happen everyday, and it's far beyond unsettling.

wow! very powerful, very violent, full of lost innocence. I could cry for all women/girls who have suffered through something like this. The poem brings the emotion of rape to life. Excellent. annie

Thanks Annie, me too. After reading Yeats The Swan I had to write this one just to get the subject out there and in support of all who have suffored such horrid experiences.

Oh my, this is a heartbreaking piece of writing. It is very well written, however. I thought it flowed smoothly and told the story beautifully. Best of luck in the contest.

This is a well written and image packed poem about one of the worst violent crimes. It show the emotional and physical pain of the victim and the illness in the perpetrator.
