It happens to so many..The one who stays, to hear the news, usually suffers more in the beginning...The other one, well, he or she, & male, in this poem probably wasn't for keeps in the first place...We Live On, at least is a good title to realize to move on & at least it was for a time & maybe, for some it was a very pleasurable experience while it lasted..

Love can grow and fade within our lives.

A true portrait of life today.
Why is it when we are so advantaged by science, technology and ease of life we struggle with perhaps the easiest part of life, relationships.
Our parents and grandparents had none of todays toys, yet they had mastered the art of family life

The pause of this piece has a unique pervasiveness. The recalling of withdrawn willingness to accept what cannot be with the mind's eye admitting what it sees.

That feeling is relatable to me. Cause after my breakup my hear was cold towards my ex after how I came to see how I was treated, and when I realized that the end was close if not gone. So true. Great job!

This is a sad piece, but it speaks of a truth that many of us can identify with. Who hasn't been in a relationship that went sour? Things started out great, but for some reason or another, it soon petered out.
