Excellent

I could have been a villian,
I was saved a life of crime,
I was rescued as a baby,
I was rescued just in time

My parents, they were scum,
My parents stole from all
I was taken from them,
Thanks to a neighbors call.

I was adopted by two people,
They became my mum and dad,
When weighing up the options,
I admit to being glad

Wow, your words are so beautiful. I especially loved the line:
"To experience lust, love, anger, tears and pain
Only to survive to see another moonlit night alone,"
