what lessons have you learned,
I know this is poetry and I'm not to informed on proper form and such, but shouldn't there be a "?" after this?
and these as well...
will you repeat the past mistakes of your ancestors who walked this world before,
Can we rest from the toils of battle at peace,with the understanding that history will show the distinguished who have fallen
(I won't take anything from the stars, because I'm really not sure. I'm a fictionwriter and we would put ? on allthe questions.
Enough of that, It was a beautiful heartfelt poem. Great job

As Memorial day approaches this is a fitting reminder of why we celebrate the ultimate sacrifice of so many who died protecting the sanctity of life.
We can only pray that those have sent us into battle and death are on thee side of freedom and righteousness. thank you for reminding everyone why soldiers lives and deaths are celebrated.
