I can empathize with the feelings in this poem. I think we have all walked those shores at one time or another in our lives. You did a super job of expressing those fears and hopes.

This is a very good poem, the words meaningful and the rhyme and flow are simple but effective. It is well presented and well edited with no adjustments needed

This is a poignant and profound free flowing free verse poem, with lots of emotion and depth of meaning in the well structured words.
The North Sea is as I remember it from my childhood, cool!

'Winds of Change' is an extremely well-written and gut-wrenching piece. This talented poet asks some rhetorical questions that is impossible for mere mortals to answer. It was a privilege to both read and review a work of this standard.

If I dare show you my heart, will you cherish the passion it would bring?
Or slowly destroy the life within with promises that will never be.
What had they do to you my friend, to carry so much pain and doubt? It is no guaranty in life ,none. So I wish you to love with total abandon free of fears. This is such a moving and well written poem with your golden pen. Excellent my friend.

That you write with total realism and open soul is what touch our emotions. Beside the fact that you have the gift of writing so well.

Oh to feel like the papercup that has served its purpose. It is just a part of being human, an experiecne we all must have at least once. Good poem.

Liked these lines especially: Are you: my love, my life, my soul mate? Or do I dare to dream, Can we stand hand in hand at peace with the understanding of time in this moonlight?
Well done!
