How exciting to find that Liz is Mary's daughter and that now they have realized it and Liz is being so accepting when she thought that she would not be able to..
This is a beautiful chapter.

There's so much emotion in this reunion! That's the conversation I was waiting to read. It's very well written. Thank you. I see you've posted other chapters -- you've been busy. I'll catch up with those tomorrow. Blessings. Carol

It's good that Liz and Mary were able to share their stories and feel compassion for the other. Now the whole family can be reunited after they find Annie. I'm sure you'll cover that next.

Ah that is good, a lovely chapter filled with forgiveness, sharing, understanding, and a new beginning for their relationship. But you have to quickly go and rescue Annie from Tito!!
Great writing, as always. Suggestion: "I couldn't imagine anything I'd rather have right now" doesn't need a question mark.
Thank you for this chapter. You must be so busy!!

Aw!! I'm so pleased they are together at last. They all had a miserable life but at least now they can have a bit of time as a complete family, well they can when they get Annie back. Perhaps God will bring about a little miracle and give Faith a little extra time? I'm in bed reading this, so I'm going to sleep with a smi!e on my face!! Well done again my dear friend! Love and hugs :)) Sandra xxx

Hurrah! I hoped I caught you before you went to sleep. I'm not sure you will want to be sleeping in the next chapter, so I'll try to get it done earlier. No grandchildren tomorrow, so I should be able to write away. And as for miracles....we can always pray God understands and sends one our way.

I do believe you're trying to ruin my old rough, hard-boot image. Softening me up, hoping someone might walk in and see me snubbing like a five-year-old. Thanks for sharing another fine chapter.

It's just because you have a very special heart.... All tough and gruff but pure squishy marshmallow inside. I love it!

Don't tell any body. You'll blow my image. Smiles and hugs, right back at ya! Ric

Maybe I will have to put you in my next novel as the lovable marshmallow man...LOL Just kidding of course.

As with all of us, there are many facets to our personalities. Most have their sweet sides, if you can dig through to find it. But we all have our bristly sides too, even if we don't like to admit it. LOL. :-)

Not me... I am one big cuddly teddy bear...or at least I tell myself that. LOL

Another fantastic chapter in your "father Brown" esque work. Your character development is phenomenal as is the story and way you move the plot, or rather multiple plots, forward.

Thank you so much for reading and for the awesome review. I love it when people connect to my characters and understand how the plots affect each of them differently. In my case, the priest turned out to be a weak person who let people manipulate him. He finally did the right thing and it cost him his life.

You know how to wrench a tear from people. I know I don't have any idea what it's like to lose a child, but I know how love works, and I'm so proud of my girls, and how they adore their kids. Children deserve to be loved, but it's much more than that, our Heavenly Father and divine Son that show us what love, an all giving sacrificial love that is willing to die for one's loved one, nothing more precious, beautifully written my friend, thanks for this, blessings Roy

There is nothing worse than losing a child, but I do know that God has enabled us to move forward through the pain. We don't forget, but we remember more of the good memories and less of the actual moment they die. At least that's what I've been allowed to focus on. I believe Mary has that same feeling.... life hasn't been good, but being able to share her love with her children again is worth all the sadness and pain. Thanks for the kind review and blessings.

I give it my best...I am not always right, but I think it's okay to get side tracked once in awhile.

Yes you are, you write from experience, and the kindness that comes from a loving heart, bless you Carol.

This is a beautiful chapter, Carol. So full of revelation, love and emotion, just what I needed after the last couple of chapters. Well written.

Exactly what I wanted the reader to feel. Giving you an emotional chapter helps to move the story and allows the reader to breath. Thanks for the review and kind words.

T his is a very touching scene. it is too bad her twin is dying. I hope they have a chance to spend some time together. Identical twins have a very special bond. When one dies the other often feels like a part of themselves died. My own twins and faternal and don't get along very well.

I am hoping they will at least meet and learn about each other. We can always hope for miracles.
