I enjoyed reading your post. I am happy that you discovered all these positive things about the lock down. In the US our government has not been so helpful helping small businesses get reestablished and those businesses are permanently closed and they are unable to feed their families.

Wow, I think this is your best post yet. I was so engrossed and amazed by your comments. It is wonderful that people in Australia are pulling together. I wish it were true here in the US. It seems that for the most part, all the pandemic has done here is divide us. So many lives have been lost and still some make a fuss about wearing a mask or getting vaccinated. I am glad you posted this. It gives me hope that perhaps people will come around eventually.

It was interesting to read how you and your neighbourhood was coping with lockdown. For me in a relatively isolated rural environment there was very little difference except as far as the noise and the sky were concerned. There was complete silence and a total absence of con trails, I am directly under the flight path from London to parts of Ireland, Canada and the Northern states of the USA and the skies, normally streaked with con trails were empty lit it must have been before the Wright Brothers.

Thank you for reading and reviewing such a long piece! Greatly appreciated. Interesting note about the planes. We don't get many flying over, but the very small grandchildren would always rush out to see it and we would talk about where the people might be going. It was fun and imaginative for them. I had a small paragraph in, but then took it out again because it was getting too long.

We've only got 2 active cases at the moment, 918 since the beginning, and over the two years only 4 deaths. So overall very little restriction in statewide travel. The federal government is lifting restrictions on international travel, it looks like we'll be free, isn't that marvellous Wendy, blessings Roy

Hi Jesse, Yes, I know it is way too long, (and I knew you would say that, lol!), and I don't expect many reviews, but I just wanted to record my feelings for myself if not for anyone else. I will still be posting before my birthday - many times I hope, and I have a couple more prepared for the next few days and weeks.
