Hello, Barbara,
Excellent chapter, so well written and easy to follow.
I hope Ali and Cord marry soon.
The man in your story, covered a lot of evidence before Ali came to the scene.
Good thing they found the manuscript for --Tattered Hearts-- it could have been catastrophic.
Well done!

I agree. I can't wait for it to be published. Thank you for the kind review.

Hi Barbara. I have no sixes left for this chapter, this being mid week. It's interesting to what is going on here. I liked the dynamics.
Only one suggestion: I'd rather not do.= 'I'd rather not' would suffice. Ulla:)))

I'm sorry. I thought I had already reviewed this. I'm so behind in reviewing. I like how Ali is looking for the pictures and yearbook that will defintely link Amy and Rogers. Maybe Amy will be reunited with her parents when they show up for the trial. I have an idea they'll be there. The prom picture should prove Amy and Rogers were an item when she was in high school. It's funny that Cord skipped the prom to go to the rodeo. If there's DNA, that should be proof he's not the father of Amy's child, but Ali wants it to be airtight. Great chapter. judi

You're welcome. Sorry to be so late, and I've already run out of sixes. I don't know how those people who post twice a day and top the list of reviewers manage to do it. judi
-
Either do I? I sometimes wonder if they really read everything.
-
I don't know how they do it. Since you write novels, it's understandable you post once a week. You're pretty high up on the reviewers list. judi
-
I review daily, but I write the majority of the day.

Interesting development in the rape case and the child's possible beginnings in high school. I went to homecoming with a friend one year and we never dated. That may be shot down in court, but if you have enough evidence and DNA, it will be irrefutable.
The couple is sugar sweet. Hopefully the dream wedding and honeymoon won't be interrupted.
Sending you my best today as always,

Thank you for the kind review. We'll see. We have to get Cord to propose first.

Even those embarrassing moments can be sweet and memorable, but not for the person who gets caught saying those things, just everybody else. LOL. Thanks for sharing.

Mushy, mushy. Got a good love affair going here. Perhaps the prom dress can bring to life something, but she would wear it to a rodeo. 10 years? Nothing wrong with this, But I have missed so much. As always, a good writer.

Thank you for the kind review. It was Amy's prom dress, the one she was raped in. Ali needed it for evidence against Rogers.

Got ya!
Comment from Wayne Fowler
Whew! I was afraid you were going to say that the prom dress was blue. (with a stain)
Nice progress.
One hitch - when Cord crossed his eyes and said that it was time to go in, he might need a few minutes to be presentable and to be in a condition to ably assist Ali.
Best wishes.

What's going on with Cord at the end? Is he thinking they're not getting to the wedding soon enough? Hmmm . . .
It sounds like we have evidence against Rogers now. I came a few chapters into the story so I'm confused about the Hardings - did they disown Amy for some reason?
Another good chapter, Barbara - moving things toward a just ending, I'm sure.
Do you want "dismissive" wave instead of a "dismissal" one?
He found a yearbook and handed it "TO" her

Amy' parents disowned her when she was pregnant and still in high school and unmarried. After shew as raped, her mom tried to help her, but her dad didn't believe she was raped. After all Pat came from such a nice family, he wouldn't do anything like that. I have made corrections. Thank you for the help. I appreciate it.

I hope Amy will reconnect with her parents and they will be a happy family .cod's name has to be cleared and the child support has to be obtained from Rogers .lots of action in the future .I am looking forward to them..
