Good one, Debra, and a truthfully unhappy experience. Love the creativity of this one, and it's humor. Great use of alliteration and a wonderful presentation. It should do well in the contest.

Debra White, I'm giving you a 6 for your sense of humor! good for you.
And as you said, earlier, It is relatable.
yep, 6 more. The old thinking cap is getting thread-bare.
You should enter The magazine, The Writer's 500 word contest $1000 to the winner. don't know how much to enter. going to check it out.

You did a fine job of your eight word poem, because not only is it eight words, the words of the predicament also add up to exactly 17 syllables.

Wishing you great luck with the contest committee with this gem.

Fortunately we store the spare rolls in the toilet with us, so we never have grief, but public toilets is a different matter, I can remember going to a public toilet in Prague where you had to pay for a couple of meagre sheets, if you had no money, well...beautifully written Debra, blessings Roy

I declare, it's ndepressing and embarrassing. I always have Kleenex nearby just in case. A wonderful little ditty for the book and contest entry, and so relatable.

Sending you my best today as always, and my best in all things,

I know the feeling all too well when you go to the bathroom and you realize that the toilet paper has not been replaced and you have just finished with what you were doing. What is it you do then well you kinda just let it drip dry or you get up carefully get more paper ,to put on the role. I enjoyed your little short poem is clever, and nicely written. Patricia.
