That chauvinistic pig, he should go in jail as well, no wonder that the son is such a bad apple. Thank you for sharing and good luck with the next chapter.

That George Elliot is a real piece of work, and of course, everyone but he can see that he is encouraging his son's criminal activity. Your chapter reads well and realistically, except for one place. That would be Marc's choice of noun "arse". That just isn't used in the U.S., especially their young people. If you're going to use it, I would suggest calling an ass an ass, or having his word interrupted by someone there. There're lots of ways around using a word I know you find offensive. But Marc must stay in character. At least that's my take on it.

Everything else was perfect.

I wanted to spell it that way but wondered about my FanStory reviewers. I'll fix it. Thank you for the kind review.

Well done to everyone for having the evidence all recorded and impossible to falsify. It's time he faced up to his wrongdoing without needing intervention from his father, who also needs to wake up to the reality of his son. Well written, an excellent chapter.

It seems as though Mr. Elliott changes his attitude as he becomes convinced by the police evidence. Dare one hope that he will actually move for his son to be found guilty? kay

It looks like Seth has covered all his evidential bases this time with George's son Marc, even George can't refute the evidence, despite the influence he has, he probably can't get his spoilt son off this time. But one never knows, does one? A great episode Barbara, very neatly written, well done, blessings Roy

Oooh you bumped this up a notch! The dad is now going over to bribe the family. I am right? Tell me? Yes, I am right. These guys throw their money around to get what they want. There is a family like this in every town and you painted them perfectly.

This is a great chapter. My favorite so far. I would give it two sixes if I could.

First sentence: but why ARE you here this early?

"I'll work on the porch roof until Emma wakes up." I had to chuckle - as soon as he begins swinging that hammer she'll be waking up, lol!

Last sentence: . . . and called to give Keith heads up. I'd insert "a" before heads

It's times like these that you're so happy the police are prepared and can back up a report that will have to be flawless in the court system for these people to not walk away from their crimes.

This chapter left me thinking, "Woohoo!"

All that video evidence sure had Marc dead to rights. It's a good thing too because George, though he may find a fancy lawyer to represent his son, won't have any case, as all his allegations of police misbehavior proved false. I love seeing the bad guys squirm as they are caught red-handed with no defense.

That George has to quit trying to cover up for his son. It does his son no good in the long run to get away with things that he should be punished for or else he will never reform himself and will continue to hurt people.

This was a very satisfying chapter, Barbara.

They are a right pair, aren't they? But this evidence should teach the a lesson. Well, I sincerely hope so, but you never know with scum like that. It's great writing, Barbara. Ulla:)))
