One of the greatest gifts a human can give to another is the gift of forgiveness. No person alive is perfect. We are all at one time or another need to be forgiven for something we did that was ill advised. To forgive is not only scriptural it is a wonderful thing to practice.

I agree. I'm glad it came across with Emma.

I love the frustration Seth has being injured. It seemed very appropriate for his personality. I hope you will delve into Peggy's arraignment. That would be very entertaining.
Good action on several fronts in this chapter. Gretchen

Sorry, I don't it doesn't move the story along. I do state what her punishment is. Thank you for the kind reviw.

Good enough! Want to see her get her just desserts. She's a naughty girl.

This work has reached the exceptional level

I can't believe it has only been 26 days since Seth and Emma met. They both changed for the better and it's fun to watch their relationship grow.

Seth is becoming a softy lol. Just kidding. I think he is learning to trust women again, at least one special girl. (*=*)

Great chapter. I can't wait for the second part.

I think Emma is winning Seth over but is he winning her over. LOL Thank you for the kind review.

I thought the part with Seth reading Shel Silverstein's book was past over to lightly.
(((Seth introduced the book, read it, and then asked, "What are some ways the tree gave?" )))

Other than that, the chapter falls into place with the rest.
Their relationship is a tug of war ... time will tell.

Looking forward to the next time.
John

I was afraid of going into too much detail. I will see what I can do about it. Thank you for mentioning it and for the kind review.

Although I'm coming in late to your story, it's easy to pick up the threads.

I particularly enjoyed the T-shirt scene! So revealing of character.

One small typo to fix: "With one arm there's no way I can tuck in this in."

You are a prolific writer there is no doubt! A wonderful imagination that creates a serious interesting story. Emma seems to be a lot of things mostly good.
Your characters are quite vibrant and believable with a dialogue I could see happening between anyone. Lots of insight and the icing on the cake for your written work. I hope you have a great night!

I thought Carl was coming to TAKE me home.

With one arm there's no way I can tuck in this in - remove an "in"

. . . moved closer as attempted to stretch the T-shirt . . . Add "she" before attempted

It turns out that George is not a bad guy after all, and it's nice that he's rethinking his life for his son's sake. And his. It's never too late, so they say.

Seth and Emma are still feeling their way with each other, which makes perfect sense when I see that they just met 26 days ago. It seems much longer. Geez, a lot has happened in a month to them!

Thanks for sharing another chapter.

I enjoy these stories of yours. They entertain and they uplift us too. That Ronald is a troublemaker with a capital T. I wonder what you will cook up next. Good work. Karen

Well done. They are learning more and more about each other and there is a certain amount of teasing going on. Seth seems very capable even with children's ministry. Would he really be able to do that in work time? Interesting development re George and Marc!

In the really small time, yes, rarely need police officers, especially during the day. When my husband was in the Army he was CID, Criminal Investigation Division. I used to say, 'crime doesn't happen between 7:30-4:40', the Army's normal business hours. LOL Thank you for the kind review.

Hello Barbara,
this is an interesting story. It takes a lot of different turns though and I get a little confused. I don't remember Marc or what he did to get into trouble. I did like the story though. It's believable and the dialogue is good. Thanks for sharing.
Have a blessed evening.

Marc was the driver who caused Emma's car accident, hit and run. He was drunk. Thank you for the kind review.
