I'm so happy Jane is getting at least a little of what she deserves. Thank you for sharing this with us.

"You're a negative Nancy, you know that?" she grins and starts dancing in her seat. (She)

As Rachelle exits the car they run towards each other. (car,)

As I'm stepping over the threshold I hear Jane bitching about not coming inside and how she's never been so insulted, (threshold,)

Thanks, Barbara. Jane is a tough woman to take. All she has to do is open her mouth and her one upmanship comes spilling out. Thanks so much for the edits. Gretchen

Lol. Another fun chapter. Jane is a pain, Simply put, has no emotional intelligence' and certainly can't "read the room". I enjoyed this chapter, and I can't wait to see how you (legally) dispose of her. Please don't put her on a plane to Australia!

I would never do that to you folks in Down Under. No one deserves a Jane. I believe Rachelle will handle Jane. Lol. Thanks for this. Gretchen

Those three rules apply in all cities Gretchen. People don't stop to talk to you because they like you, they always want something from you. Glad Jane has been put in her place and it is a pity that you are not dropping her off instead of Rebekah! Ha ha ha, just the three of you left now. Another fine chapter and your colourful descriptions always make me smile Gretchen, you have a wonderful way with words, always a pleasure to read your stories, love Dolly x x x

Thank you so much. I'm an introvert so I keep my eyes down and treat everyone with suspicion. Lol. Gretchen

Rachelle did indeed call shotgun. That leaves Jane, alone in the backseat. Lol. Thank you for this. Gretchen

I love your father's saying:-)

I love your author's notes. Yes, having that Southern drawl can get attention. I think it's great that you used it to your advantage.

Thanks for a great chapter in this story.

This was another great chapter. I was unsure where we were initially but I eventually picked it up. Still a great story and I have heard some similar stories about how to behave in New York City and so on.

You (in the story), have a lot more patience than I possess. I would have pulled into a walmart. Say everybody out, and say say the first through the doors and too the ladies underwear department gets my Walmart gift card for $20.00 dollars. Jane hauls ass into walmart Also knocking down a senior citizen, and we three continue to New York. :-) Good Story. Karen

Lol. Maybe you should drive next time. Without a nuisance like Jane, the rest of the story would be boring. Gretchen

Maybe you could make her airbag open! Duct tape? She really is the most tactless, pig headed, unintuitive, exasperating...I can't wait to "see" her taken down a peg or two or ten.
Yours and Rachelle's characters are so real, I'm seeing it like a film in my mind, and I know you can't take it all the way to Rebekah's singing in an opera, but maybe she could sing for Maria before you leave? I still can't get over the fact that Rachelle sings in operas.
Another fun chapter!

Wow, this is getting great! I'm from Virginia also with a southern accent. Folks from the north get a huge kick out of it. Great writing as always with the storyline

Southern accents are awesome. My kids laugh at mine. I don't even notice I have one to be honest. Thank you for this awesome review and excellent rating. Gretchen

You're doing a great job of making Jane a creep, although I don't get what her problem with coming through the door is. Rachel makes a great move calling shotgun. Are they really taking Jane to the writing conference? I would not want to let anyone know I knew her.

In Rachelles version, she felt snubbed by Maria. She was being a baby. Kind of glad she won't come in. A nice quiet meal. Lol. Thank you. Gretchen
