Unexpected and fabulous. Loved the humor and great visual evoked in so few words. Funny how we struggle to hold on to something in vain when it is time to let go. Great image choice.

You hit the nail on the head!!! We do whatever it takes to keep our youthfulness, but at some point we do have to start realizing that like it or not, we are aging and gravity is not our friend. I needed to read this, it made my day.

The cartoon is clever and i see the gravity of the situation, Parts of these comments eventually come to us all. The poem is more haiku then senryu. In any case it is a very good effort.
