As willows woo the window panes
(an aswesome line) This is a beautiful presentation with a variety of great poetic devices that include rhyme, rhythm, alliteration and echoing sounds.

This is most excellent my friend. It reads very well like a song. It has a nice steady beat throughout. It is so very peaceful too. I like these lines:
As willows woo the window panes
then sense a silent feather's fall
Very good. :) ~Yona

Just keep on pouring it out. That is what poetry is all about. Never intended to be kept bottled inside. Here's wishing you the true joy of Christmas and blessings throughout the coming year.

Jewell..And what a lovely romantic verse this is...one befitting of the lover of our souls!!! I think I share this same romance with the One who is "Oh singer of my deepest songs" and more. It makes me think of some years back when I was single and had to travel...my heart torn between being at home with family and friends...or on my lengthy "date" with just me and my "beloved".
Thanks for indulging in your yearnings and sharing this sweet poem. Well deserving of the six stars. Loved the alliteration, too, especially in this line: "As willows woo the window panes"
Blessings and joyous holiday greetings.

While angels sing and pick up flight
Share the whispers of our night
As memories walk another mile
Our dawn awakens morning's smile
Well it certainly is poetic and leads one to believe this poet does have a plea. A beautiful write for sure girl.

Loved the alliteration and romantic imagery. You are sure to touch a few hearts with your words this evening. Shouldn't this have been entered in a contest??!!

What a beautiful poem, and I'm stuck able only to give you a five, which is infuriating. A hundred stars wouldn't be enough for this treasure. It's the sort of poem to read on a warm Summer's evening at dusk, with the moon just putting in an appearance. Five stars and very well done are all I can give you.
Every good wish, Mike
