Sad ending, but overall the writer portrays his characters as loving and endeared to animals. Shows a true dedication to protecting and caring for troubled, sick, and wounded animals.
Each character whispers of his own character through his conversations.

I find this a good read waking up various emotions. Man-to-animal compassion is not much different from that between humans. A simple tale of ordinary people sharing their lives as animal lovers.
Yes, the spell-check missed the "d" when Nathan said, "Please to meet you Miss."
The appearance of this brown-eyed angel portends of some exhilarating expectations. Will the doctor be able to take care of his heart?

Thank you dennis. Me and 30 reviewers missed the 'd' LOL Thank you so much for catching it, my dear. My new favorite number is 31 thanks to you.

Wow, is my eyesight that good?! Catching a missing "d" which you guys missed. Maybe its because I re-read it several times. I liked the simplicity and lightness of your piece.

LOL Yep, you were the only one. And that reminds me, I forgot to change it. LOL

I enjoyed reading this chapter. It was very interesting and lively. The death of Fearsome Bill was told with a lot of grace and dignity.

Interesting start of a unique storyline. I don't think I've ever read a book about an animal doctor. I do have some suggestions. Work on showing, not telling. Add some more interaction with the heroine. You need something that will reach out and grab your reader.

Wow! Now that's what I call a hearty breakfast: inch thick steak on an early morning. I want the address and phone of this Merald woman :-)
We've met Miss Nathan Daniels and judging by the picture accompanying this story, a whiff of love wafts over.
Shows great promise, Amahra,
Alex
