How beautiful, and you followed all the rules nicely. I especially like the rhyming scheme you came up with, and your images are wonderful. "Silver moon conceives shadows" - pretty and original

Nice one, Anupam! Superb word economy lends this a swift pace. The random rhyming is melodic and harmonic simultaneously. Loved the word choice festoon.

Also enjoyed the consonance and alliteration of T and consonance of S and M and assonance of U in these lines:

Timed commune
slowly transmutes

A 'pristine halo' indeed. Last night I witnessed a rainbow ring around the moon--lovely! Mystical.

    See..I lost this time as well. I have tried so many things, but none of them have impressed much people. I tried my best this time and yet it stumbled in the booth. Maybe the 'X-factor' is missing. It really makes me feel doubtful about my capabilities sometimes.

    The voting booths are not a place you should allow to affect your self-esteem, my friend. The general populace of FS voters have little taste and the highest caliber works rarely wins. The winning entries tend to be mediocre works with themes that appeal to the masses--please do not quote me on this, but my observations of the booths lead me to think people do not have refined taste.

    Trust me, you're quite gifted.

The photo and your poem are equally excellent. It is a Whitney about nature, rhymes, all the requirements of the prompt. A nice subject to choose. Best wishes for the prompt.

You have the Whitney format down perfectly. Your word choices are excellent and convey the beauty of the moon and the effect it creates. We have a vision it darkens the meadows in the eclipse.
