Hi Carolyn,

I am giving you a virtual six ****** for this sweet, sweet children's poem. Wish I had a real six left to give you. I loved it!

You did a terrific job on this poem. Old and young alike will enjoy this. I like how you capitalized UP and DOWN. I chuckled when I read "fruit and bugs and friends". Children will delight in "hop-hopping" ... at least I think so. Fave line ... "they never are a grouch" ... that is such a cute line to go along with your hop-hopping!

Great rhyming, flow and an overall delight to read!

Carolyn! SENSATIONAL! (& mark: I am not even a child - no, not anymore!) LOL, yet it tends to strike a note in me, a tender impulsiveness, as it were -- of something profound & lasting.

Your lines bring back many fond memories -- glimpses of my long-forgotten childhood -- when Grandfather used to sit by my side, & regale me the vibrant anecdotes of sundry creatures from a small picture book I had, &........ ha! how I tend to miss those happy days now... they are gone .... never to return again.

Nevertheless, this will I guess, be not a good thing for me here to be carried away thus with my sentiments:
I must at once refrain myself .

Spontaneous in descriptiveness, the diction delights a complacent reader to the fullest - it sounds lucid , but never elementary ( an attribute which delights me all the more). Puerile as it is, in its candid theme & context, I happen to love this work greatly ...... & would gladly vouchsafe (as always), my wholehearted compliments to you with all your upcoming ventures before concluding here for good! Impeccably fared, my dear friend!

There you go again. Just outdoing yourself. This is a good poem for children especially in a CCD class. It's simple, it has animals that make kids smile (especially monkees), nice rhyming scheme and long enough to keep their attention.

A beautifully written children's poem that you give inspiration and a harmful feeling toward our Lord. Through these words to share His grace and His love for all the animals.
