We have lived at our current address since 1977, our daughters lived here till the day they were married, when we mention we should sell and move to a smaller place they protest vehemently saying " but we grew up here", so I relate to this work! With so many apartments & condos today and people moving away, the 'old homestead' seems to be something from days gone by.. It's great that you came back to breathe new life into it, so that you can pass on the heritage.

47 years ? WOW ! don't hear of that too often these day.

Our home is full of life once more
and never again will it stand alone
That old saying is certainly true,
"there is no place like home."
