Hi, Carolyn,

Light and silly is cool. This is too cute, and I love the artwork.

Little Miss Pucker Face looks as if she's going to start spitting out sunflower seeds. (*:*)

We used to take soy beans out of my grandpa's soy bean field, throw 'em on a cookie sheet, salt and stick them in the oven for awhile. Sort of end up like corn nuts. Goooood, rub yur tummy good. Good memory.

Cheers & Blessings
Keep Smilin'... Jax (*:*)

I am a seed nut, but then I am a nut nut too.. Oh well, what I am trying to say is I like all that stuff. LOL... I roast our pumpkin seeds at Halloween as well. Do you think the sunflower looks a little like me?
Glad you liked this one Jax,

Did you believe your parents reasoning as a small child? Mine you to say if you over-indulge in what you like to eat, you'll turn into it! But, so far as I can tell, you don't look like a sunflower seed to me-----but eat with caution, my dear friend! (*L*)

Carolyn; I do enjoy sunflower seeds in your poem reflects happiness, fun in a ray of sunshine in everyone's feelings. The rhyming is neither forced nor labored and helpful in the rhythmic flow of your poem which its rhythm's tempo, meter cadence and movement all help with the rhythmic flow of your poem. The picture you chosen is very bright and enlightening and represents your poem very well. I particularly like the sunglasses on that one sunflower. Thank you for sharing and posting and may the good Lord be with you always Carolyn.

I particularly love the imagery you project in this delightfully easy read poem, easy on the eyes, ears and the lips, such is the imagery and sensory perception of the poem Carolyn, it reads so well, with the natural use of aabb rhyming, and a serene flow to it! Well done. My friend, blessings, Roy.

I can relate to this post. My fiance is Romanian and she lives sunflower seeds and I must admit that I love them too. They are very tasty.

I actually put them in salads often. Although when I buy them shelled and salted they don't last around here very long. :-) Thank you Tom, Fiance? Wedding coming soon? Congrats.. Whether soon or later, I wish you the best. :-) Carolyn

Hi Carolyn,

Your poem is really neat. I like the cute last verse because I like sunflower seeds too. Yum! The rest of it is written very well too. I wish I could get some different ideas to write about. You're very good at it.
