It is always a blessing to have poetry that makes one pause and contemplate the words and the meaning that are written. It took me a while to read and study to know the depth of this work, Good job. Patricia

I thought this was an excellent piece of writing and I liked how it was constructed. You deliver strong imagery throughout your piece and I thought that your writing flowed well. I couldn't find any faults. Thanks for sharing...Jacob

Love the opening verse. It sets the mood of your writing throughout. Great imagery. This shows we're all connected in some way. Great closing line. Loved it! Les

Cool poem and picture. I like the ideas and imagery that is portrayed throughout and within this piece. The picture adds clarity to the chaos and free-spiritedness that I believe is intended. Thank you for sharing.

I like the stark picture but verse after verse confuses me. It seems to be a happy mix of images and abstracts. Maybe every word is its own image. For the poet who worships words every word might represent an icon. But when we advanced onto symbols confusion begins. Let us not forget that ultimately we have to commute with words. -Ekim777

You live in a world that makes perfect sense, do you Ekim...? the video...did you watch the video..the woman is running around looking for meaning.... evidently found in a swarm of birds. I ah went there for a minute....and wrote about my experience. It is difficult to pen heaven and the stairway has no stencil...we each wing it -wink-....love Michael

I can't pretend to understand everything you meant to convey here, but the words drew me in and sounded good as I read them. I read the word "eye-witness" and glanced at the dandelion that resembles an iris, minus its eyeball!

This poem is definitely food for thought. I enjoyed your metaphors and imagery of birds and flight, particularly "catch and release," and how you apply this to your life with the repetition, "choreographed wings my soul." Your poem feels like a classic Beat poem. Your choice of language engaged me. This is a poem that has to be felt to be understood. Thank you for sharing.

Hi there,
The thing that always strikes me with your poetry is the startling and vivid imagery, coupled with an ambiguity that leaves the reader with something to ponder.
Nice one, or is it?
