True love is said to be blind but not passing infatuation. If both the partners are playing the love game for fun, the end is bound to be on the lines of your poem. One-upmanship does not pay in genuine relationships.

Ha,ha. Turn around is fair play. Oh, the lies men can tell. Good use of parallel structure in the last stanza. Subject is typical old fashioned country westerns sadness.

Beautifully written in fine, articulate couplet rhyming which adds to the overall rhythm of this easy flowing, easy to read Work Its descriptive imagery plays a melody, and it makes its own story as it rolls along, telling a story of somebody wronged and the teller of the narrative paying the price.
