This was absolutely hilarious. Your Irish blood is showing through here. We are great for accepting a challenge and then causing havoc.
I am looking forward to reading the next part, perhaps your Italian side will triumph lol

Freda, Wow! Thank you for the glorious SIX! It has been a minute or two since I've been on the site ... we moved in May, and coupled with the arrival of two new grandbabies, I suspect my muse was packed away in one of the boxes in the garage. I didn't realize how much I missed FanStory until becoming active again. Loved your review, and your kind words, your SIX and our shared heritage. I'm working on the finale now, between diaper changes and baby napping :D
Thank you and have a great week!

Welcome back! You have been missed. I am so pleased we will finally learn the ending to this insane, but fun, bicycle trip. I love Brunhilda and have missed her too. She is my type of alter ego and wish I had one just like her. I look forward to the next part.

This is excellent. I especially liked the Linda Blair helmet. Hurry with the rest. I want to see how this ends.
I figured out your riddle. It's the Flying Nun competing in the Tour De France. What did I win?

Well, look who it is, that stranger who ran off and deserted us for the summer. LOL! Hope you enjoyed the break and it's nice to have you back sharing mishaps of the Wakefield clan. Sounds like a dangerous adventure to me, but at least you didn't have a daughter puking in the elevator or in the pool in Hawaii. Thanks for sharing another of your fun chapters. :-)

Aah Ric, so nice to hear from you and receive a review on my first time back. I did dessert everyone, but couldn't fit it all in with the arrival of two grandbabies and a move to our new house. A little advice from MarMar...never move in summer heat. I think I sweated off ten pounds easily :)
You bring up a good point on the puke...though in retrospect... :D
Thank you so much for your kind words and awesome review. It's good to be back!

Seems your "Bruni" is very much involved in your writing.
Storyline possesses enough drama to move the tale along.
Ending lends to several different directions you could travel this accounting in from this point forward.

Thank you, Brent, for your RR&R. I very much appreciate your time and talent. Yes, Bruni is a voice that can't be squelched. Thank you.

I remember those bike tours. I used to have a postal center book store at the bottom of Baldwin Avenue in Paia and in the mid-nineties, the string of cyclists came down the hill every half hour or so.
I wonder if the story might read better without the alter-ego of Brunhilda.
If you are not familiar with Bill Bryson, Dave Barry, or Firooza Dumas, you may want to check them out. I think you may really like the writing of these authors.

How interesting to read your background in Paia. Thank you for your review and input. I'm familiar with Dave Barry, but not Bryson or Dumas. I will check them out when time permits.

I remember! Glad to hear the rest of the story.
You have gift of humor that pulls and keeps this reader in Bruni's head as well as her own. My Bruni, seems to be agreeing!
I love the fast chatter, the logical twists and turns of story-line as well as personal revelations.
Good work Mary!

Ah, thank you, LaRosa, for the wonderful review and feedback. I was a little pensive coming back to writing after three months being of the site, so I appreciate your words and reading very much!

Ahh, so that's what happened. Welcome home!

You left the group??? Who suggested that? A crazy person, no doubt, but you were crazy to agree, I think. From here on, you deserve what you got, so don't expect me to feel sorry for you. LOL!

Thank you, Phyllis! Yep, who wants to ride and possibly
crash with a bunch of strangers? I appreciate your RR&R, as well as your lack of sympathy ;)

hehe I love bruni she is a cack! you are a naturally funny story teller and if you have the voice to go with it you could easily get a gig at the local club telling your stories of woe with Buni sitting on your shoulders lol
Thanks for sharing Looking forward to the next instalment.

Ask, thanks Dip for the high compliment. I wrote better than I speak, so that will not be happening! I do appreciate your kind words and review, and that fabulous six! I haven't seen one of those in months!!! Thank you!
