A good question about extinction of the world and survival of cockroaches only, well used supervivants; then will cockroaches be only survivors, when all dead; well said, well done. Keep writing. DR ALCREATOR

I see you are at it again! Excellent. I like the new word you chose "supervivant". I really must find myself a copy of that book. I enjoy this fun task you have set for yourself. Thanks for sharing it with us!

Cockroaches in charge. That would be weird. I hope it doesn't happen until I'm long gone. Good job with this word :) Good rhyming couplets. You could probably stick your words for the day in the middle of a line so you don't have to rhyme with it at all. Just a thought.

Hi Joy - it is a good thought - and I've actually done that in five out of the twelve so far. A reminder doesn't hurt, though.
Many thanks for the kind words.

Well if the cockroaches are ever completely wiped out God help us, they are the true survivors! (I can never kill the blighters! They are huge here!). Your poem is poignant, well rhymed and food for thought, I really enjoyed every line of your poem, love Dolly x

I can't really fault that, excellent poem (in a tragic, terrifying way, obviously).
Don't think I'd change a thing, very well done.
Take care

Hello Craig. First of all I want to congratulate you on your choice of words today. Then I will say you have said a mouthful of wisdom in this write. Cockroaches King hey? I've seen them big enough to put leashes on and walk them like pets in PNG where I lived for a couple of years. Your words should stop people dead in their tracks for the truth of the state of our existence. Bravo! xxoo deborah
