Had to read this a few times to get it, a whodunnit in a poem.
She did it................
Unique 5-7-5 that was so enjoyable ..................

I think this is a good entry for the 5-7-5 Poetry writing prompt.
Your story is clead with so few words.
Good luck to you with this one in the competition.

A whodunit in seventeen syllables. With the black and white background, I would suggest the answer is easy. To be turned down by a lover who prefers men would be the pits.

Wow I didn't know a 5-7-5 poetical form can be used for mystery and crime poetry. And the author was really successful in doing so. Amazing and clever, truly an excellent write. Thanks for sharing.

One of the more original and evocative illustrations I've seen for a 5-7-5 (how many guns does it take to kill a guy?). A nice twist on the hell-hath-no-fury theme. So good to see you posting again. I think I missed a post or two. Got to go back and catch them.

I had real problems trying to get in touch with the message and intent of this work. After reading it three times, I'm thinking I may have missed some preamble or earlier chapter that sets the stage? Sorry to have lost the plot! HIS GRAYNESS

And that's all the lady said. We questioned her for hours but got nowhere. We tried to trick a confession out of her but had no luck. In the end, Fred was still dead and Ed is missing.

I love it. Very clever and creative and a different kind of love 5/7/5 poem.
Who knew what Fred would do and now he's dead....poor Fred. I hope she chooses better next time. Well done and good luck in the contest.
