This is a super message for all those kids tied to their devices instead of enjoying kid things outdoors. You did a great job with a difficult word--difficult to use in a poem. But you made it fit perfectly. Good job on the rhymes, & the smooth flow. I enjoyed reading it & thinking back to the times I was outside most all day playing or just being outside--that is after chores were done. Great job & thanks for sharing. Jan

Hi Jan,

Yep - after homework and chores, it was outside to play until the street lights came on. And all weekend, of course, except for those darned chores lol

We went back out after dark--Friday/Saturday/summer & played some more. We never worried about strangers and . . . You are doing a great job with your poems for your treasured book.
