This set of AB CB AB CB couplets is used in an extreme example the presented vocabulary word. I doubt the speaker will be found that far out...... ..........

Thanks, Bill. You figured it out - he sent the misleading postcard to throw them off the scent :) Cheers, Craig

This is funny. I believe this is one of the best from thes words in your book. All I can say, Craig, is this, "Have you seen the man in the moon?" Good job with this odd word. But then who knew? I thought the moon was made of green cheese. Never dreamed there could be a man hiding there. Ok, seriously. Good job on your poem. I really enjoyed the rhyme. And this is a perfect pairing of words + picture. Good job. Thanks for sharing. Jan

I'm fairly certain the Mighty Mouse book I had as a kid confirms your hypothesis, Jan. Most grateful for the lovely comments - Craig

A very well-written poem about a word that seems to have a very interesting meaning and purpose to describe law breaker's actions to.hide from the law to escape judgment.

Short, quick and funny. I have to admit, you stumped me with abscotchalater. I like how you challenge yourself with these archaic words. I do something similar with various feelings and scenarios. I'm still chuckling at the last line while looking at the picture. Well done.

This is a cute witty poem about a person who thinks he can hide from the police forever. Maybe on the moon he can. But in general most people are caught. I can't say all. Which is sad.

Thanks very much, Joan. Yes, it's sad that so many get away with far worse crimes than this fellow. Piloting a spaceship under the influence is only a misdemeanour. Cheers, Craig

You're very welcome, Craig. Well there is a lot less traffic in outer space.
