What a lovely poem to illustrate prosopopoeia - a poetic device we love to use in both poetry and prose. And if this word were more commonly known, we wouldn't object to trying to spell onomatopoeia!

LOL thanks so much, Helen. I think I'll stick to "personification". I appreciate the great review.

Nature has a way of soothing away our troubles and clearing our minds, we are drawn to the ambiance it offers, your little book is coming in handy with all these unusual words, I learned a new one today here in your uplifting poem, love Dolly x

This speaks how naturally, as the poet finds in vision, the lush mountain passes welcome and invite man and tell about the creatures stand, though the poet winks; well said, well done. Keep Writing -- DR ALCREATOR

This is a really lovely poem, especially the first stanza. I like:
"such wonders that nature has woven for me,
as ferns chant enticingly, "Come and be free!"
Ferns DO have a willy-nilly free and frilly look to them.
Your word of the day is quite a mouthful.

Yes, I think I'll stick to "personification", which is no small bite in itself :) Many thanks, Marilyn.
