A very well-written 3-5-3 passion poem. When we love something or someone we are held captive willingly into the grasp of whatever our passion us about.

-Lovely image and
presentation.
-The syllable count is good.

from the title and
describe the emotion.

and personification at the end.

Pam, I do thank you for acknowledging the transition from title to the declaration.

You are quite welcome.

You have used excellent wording choices to really describe the impact of love. The words were powerfully and successfully created an image in only a few lines, great job.

Very well said. This is a great way of describing passion, although love isn't always a component of it. There is a sometimes just a physical attraction. If we are lucky, love enters in. Best of luck in the contest.

I think a lot of people will relate to this in one form or another, although these days we might not be sure what form. An excellent entry in this lune poetry contest, good luck, blessings Roy

You've written an excellent 3-5-3 poem for the contest
with a very good description of passion
and excellent choice of art work.
There's no getting out of that grasp,
nor would anyone want to.
Well done
Robert

Yes, indeed, that is precisely what passion is! It controls you, consumes you and dictates your decisions! You are willing to make yourself vulnerable and are hopelessly bound in its trance!
A good entry for the contest! Best wishes! :-)

Perfect syllabic adherence on this 3-5-3. The art choice is definitely related to the subject. Love is personified with the word 'grasp' and the 'impetuously' part may or may not depend on the individual(s) involved. Good luck in contest!

Wow, you've penned a lovely little gem of an poem for this entry in the 3-5-3 Passion poem. I love the feeling your words create. I almost feel the artwork detracts from your beautiful poem because the people pictured look anything but passionate. Just an aside. Your poem stands alone :)

Thank you! I struggled with using it may change it!

You're most welcome. It wasn't a criticism, I'd just like to see something that speaks to the passion in your words ;)

This is a sexy little poem! It's interesting that the middle line, with the most syllables, is a single word. The title, description and picture help to clarify the author's intention behind the poem's words. The man is staring intensely at the woman, and she is staring intensely out, as if she is truly enthralled. They are both red in color, that telltale flush in skin, that comes from passion. You have communicated very well in your poem.
